Der GTV gratuliert seiner ehemaligen Spielerin Miriam Eckenfels ganz herzlich zum Gewinn der Schweizer Meisterschaft mit dem LK Zug. Eckenfels (25) wechselte 2003 vom damaligen 2. Ligisten HC Oberwil zum GTV, welcher gerade in die 1. Liga aufgestiegen war. Miri avancierte sofort zur Leistungsträgerin und absolvierte zwischen 2003 und ihrem Wechsel 2007 zum NLA-Team LK Zug insgesamt 94 Partien für den GTV. Höhepunkt ihrer gold-weiss-roten Zeit waren die Aufstiegsspiele zur NLA, als man an St. Otmar St. Gallen scheiterte. Inzwischen ist Miri Eckenfels Leistungsträgerin beim LK Zug und aktuelle Schweizer Nationalspielerin. Im entscheidenden letzten Spiel im Playoff-Finale gegen SPONO Nottwil gelangen ihr 11 Tore. Der ganze GTV freut sich mit Miri und ist stolz auf die grossartige Entwicklung welche sie gemacht hat. Auch für die weitere Zukunft: alles Gute!
